Struggling With Persistent Bloating, Digestive Issues Or Gut Symptoms?
When Your Gut Is Out Of Balance, Everything Feels Harder
This isn’t just about digestion.
Your gut shapes how you feel far beyond your stomach. When it’s out of balance, symptoms can show up in ways that don’t seem connected.
Nutrient absorption
How well your body takes in what you eat
Inflammation
Keeping inflammatory responses in check
Immune system
Much of your immune activity starts in the gut
Hormones
Your gut and hormones constantly communicate
That’s why removing foods or following generic protocols rarely creates lasting change. I look for what may be contributing to your symptoms, such as your microbiome, digestive function or inflammation, so your plan restores balance, not just manages symptoms.
Why Your Gut Symptoms Keep Returning, And What Needs To Change
Temporary fixes can sometimes ease symptoms.
But if the underlying cause hasn’t been addressed, those symptoms often return.
This is because gut health isn’t just about what you eat, it’s about how your body is functioning.
My approach looks at:
- Microbiome balance and diversity
- Digestive capacity and nutrient absorption
- Inflammation and gut integrity
- The connection between gut health, hormones, and stress
By understanding these patterns, your care can be tailored in a way that creates more sustainable, long-term improvements.

Why I Use Comprehensive Microbiome Testing
Gut symptoms can look the same on the surface, while very different patterns sit underneath.
Bloating, discomfort or irregularity can be linked to many different things happening in the gut, which is why guessing, or cutting out more foods, so often leads nowhere.
Comprehensive microbiome testing, such as Microba, uses DNA sequencing of a simple at-home stool sample to show which bacteria and other microbes live in your gut, how diverse your microbiome is, and what those microbes may be capable of doing.
What your results can show us:
- The balance and diversity of your gut bacteria
- Beneficial species that may be low
- Microbes and patterns that may be contributing to your symptoms
- Functions such as producing short-chain fatty acids, which help support the gut lining
Standard medical tests provide a snapshot of a single moment, and can often miss the deeper patterns that may be contributing to your symptoms. Comprehensive testing looks further.
I interpret your results alongside your symptoms, health history and diet, so your gut strategy (nutrition, targeted supplementation and lifestyle support) is based on what your gut actually shows, rather than guesswork. Where helpful, retesting shows how your gut is responding over time.
Gut Testing With Microba
Microba testing looks at the bacteria and other microbes in your gut, alongside markers of how your gut is working, all from a stool sample you collect in the privacy of your own home. It may be useful if you live with ongoing bloating, reflux, diarrhoea or constipation, or if other tests haven’t explained your symptoms.
What Microba looks at:
- Thousands of bacteria, yeasts and other microbes, and how diverse your microbiome is
- Bacteria and parasites that may cause gut infections
- Calprotectin and lactoferrin, markers of inflammation in the gut
- Pancreatic elastase, which reflects how well you digest food
- Secretory IgA, part of your gut’s immune defence
- Zonulin, a marker linked to the gut lining (intestinal permeability)
We start with your Initial Assessment. If Microba testing suits you, a kit is sent to your home, you collect the sample yourself and post it to the lab. Results take around 4 weeks from when the lab receives your sample, and we go through them together in your Functional Testing Consultation.

A Structured, Personalised Approach To Restoring Gut Health
This is a guided, personalised process designed to support your gut step by step.
Your care may include:
- Functional gut testing where appropriate (such as Microba or other testing)
- A personalised nutrition and gut support plan
- Targeted supplementation where needed
- Practical lifestyle strategies to support digestion and reduce inflammation
- Ongoing guidance and adjustments as your body responds
Rather than guessing or trying to piece things together yourself, you’re guided through a clear, structured approach.
What Changes When Your Gut Starts Functioning Properly
When your gut begins to heal and rebalance, things start to feel different.
Clients often experience:
- ✧ Reduced bloating and digestive discomfort
- ✧ Improved regularity and digestive ease
- ✧ Better energy and nutrient absorption
- ✧ Fewer food reactions or sensitivities
- ✧ Improved hormonal balance and overall wellbeing
This isn’t about temporary symptom relief.
It’s about restoring function, so your body can feel more stable, supported, and easier to manage day to day.
Choose Your Next Step
This Is For You If You’re Ready To Understand What May Be Contributing To Your Symptoms
And to build a more targeted path forward. This approach is designed for women who are ready to move beyond guesswork and get clear on what their body needs.
It’s a strong fit if you:
- Experience ongoing bloating, discomfort, or digestive issues
- Have tried different diets or protocols without lasting results
- Suspect your gut health is impacting other areas of your health
- Want a personalised, structured approach
- Are ready to address the underlying patterns, not just manage symptoms
It may not be the right fit if you’re looking for a quick fix or short-term solution without deeper investigation.
